Gerald Maillet 1940 - 2005 Gerald Maillet, 65, of Shediac River passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital, Moncton. Born January 31, 1940 in Saint-Norbert, he was the son of the late Alphonse Maillet and the late Denise Richard. Gerald was an auto mechanic with Brentwood Motors prior to his retirement in 1991. He is survived by his wife Eva (Chevarie) Maillet; one daughter, Lucille Maillet-LeBlanc (Marcel) of Shediac River; two sons, Frank (Brenda) of Dieppe and Paul of Tampa, Florida; three sisters, Louise Roy (Emery) and Annette Breau (Iroi) all of Sainte-Marie, Claudette Léger (Paul-Eugène) of SaintAntoine; five brothers, Ola (Betty) of Sainte-Marie, Paul of Fitchburg, Mass., Ronald (Georgette) and Clarence (Yvette) all of Leominster, Louis (Robin) of Seattle, Washington; one grandson Nikolas and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Florence and Marie and by one brother Jean-Marie. The family will receive visitors at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Friday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. There will be no visiting hours prior to the funeral mass at the funeral home on Saturday.The funeral mass will be held at La Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Grande-Digue on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 10a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
