Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Saturday, February 28, 2009. Gertrude Collins aged 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Cyril Collins (1985); parents: May and James Melvin; sister: Eda and brother: Norman. Leaving to mourn are sister: Muriel of El Paso, Texas as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday, March 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 3rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Chapel, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday, March 4th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
