Lillian Jobe BATHURST, NB- The death of Mrs. Lillian Jobe, 89 years, of Msgr. Godin Court in Bathurst and formerly of Collingwood, NS occurred Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at the Foyer Notre Dame de Lourdes in Bathurst. Born in Springhill, NS, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Barbara Isabel (Stevens) Cottenden. She was a member of the St. George's Anglican Church in Bathurst where she was a resident since 1999. Lillian was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Her husband, Lamert Jobe died in 1985. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Comeau (Robert) of Bathurst, NB; one son, Harris Jobe of Springhill, NS; grandchildren, Kenneth Comeau of Bathurst, Craig and Christopher Jobe of Springhill, NS; one sister-in-law, Patricia Cottenden of Amherst Head, NS; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Dorothy MacFarlane and two brothers, John and Ronald, predeceased her. Visitations are at Elhatton Funeral Home, (www.elhatton.com) 187 St. George Street, in Bathurst on Thursday, February 17, 2005 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the St. George's Anglican Church, King Ave., in Bathurst with Rev. Rogdrick Black officiating on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Rose Cemetery, Weschester Valley, Cumberland Co., NS.
