Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, August 10, 2008, Esther M. Clarke of Victoria, age 97 years. Predeceased by husband: James; son-in-law: Fred Perry; two brothers and five sisters. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Shirley (Herbert) Miller, St. Catherine's, Ont. and Betty Perry (Pat Noel), Mount Pearl; three sons: Eugene (Maxine), Midland, Ont., Bruce (Annette) and Danny, both of Victoria; 14 grandchildren: Naomi (Louis), Bob (Katie), Heather (Robert), Pam, Dana (Patti), Derrick (Cheryl), Darryl, Danny (Vickie), Stephen (Heather), Suzanne, Nicole, Amanda (Matthew), Terry and Jason; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother-in-law: Phillip (Viola) Clarke, Paradise; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, August 13 at 2 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church and Cemetery, Victoria.
