Bertha Poirier Bertha Poirier, 81, wife of the late Aurele Poirier (1974) of Villa de Repos, Moncton, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the residence following a lengthy illness. Born February 23, 1924 in SaintAntoine, she was the daughter of the late John and Elmire (Breau) LeBlanc. Bertha was employed with Eaton's Packaging Department prior to her retirement. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Pauline Boudreau (Mike) of Moncton; two grandchildren, Guy and Michelle; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Josh, Danielle and Sara. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by her brothers, Leandre and Ernest. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:45). The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Notre-Damede-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church (Murphy Avenue) Moncton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
