Elizabeth S. (Betty) Chant 1924 - 2005 Elizabeth S. (Betty) Chant, 80, widow of Charles Fletcher Chant, of Spencer Memorial Home, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2005 at the residence, after a brief illness. Born April 20, 1924 in Birchgrove, NS she was the daughter of the late Frederick Bartlett and Bertha Youden. She was a retired housewife. She is survived by two sons, Frank Chant (Nora) Riverview, Charles Chant (Debra) Moncton. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Fletcher Chant (1970). There will be no visitation at the funeral home by the family request, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Glace Bay, NS.
