The family of Russell Steeves are saddened by his sudden passing on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009 at home, with his family by his side.
Born on June 5, 1947, he was a son of the late Leo and Irene Steves.
He lived his childhood in Cape Breton, before moving to Toronto, where he lived for 43 years.
Surviving are his loving wife, Jean (Mainoway); children, Barry, Patricia, Nancy and Julia and several grandchildren, all of Toronto; brothers, Leo, Ronald, Malcolm, Brian and Gerald, all of Sydney, Lewis of Edmonton and Raymond of Calgary.
There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements will take place in Ontario.
