Peter Wilson, 36, died peacefully joining his mother and father with God on February 27, 2009.
Born on June 19, 1972, in New Glasgow, he was the youngest son of the late Robert and Stella Wilson, Springville.
Peter loved spending time with his family and an incredible group of loyal and loving friends. His best friend Claudine, his dog Dixie and his three cats: Pepper, Selena and Nique sustained him through a long battle with diabetes and kidney dialysis. With selfish hearts we would have kept him with us, but we draw comfort in knowing he is at peace.
Peter is survived by his sisters, Margaret Earle (Chris Snell); Kathleen Laing (Sheldon Cromwell); brothers, Robert (Myra) Wilson; William (Norma) Wilson; nieces: Jennifer Burridge, Kathryn Burridge, Patricia (Matthew) MacWilliam, Sherry (Dan) Freckelton (sister in spirit); grandniece, Emma Freckelton; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friend, Claudine Harnish.
Peter was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Stella Wilson.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 7, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, March 8, in Springville Presbyterian Church, Springville. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Kidney Foundation or the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
