Mr. James A. MacDonald 1928 - 2005 MIRAMICHI, NB - Mr. James Andrew MacDonald, husband of Hattie MacDonald, of the MacDonald Road, Miramichi, passed away at his residence, on Sunday, March 13, 2005, at the age of 76. Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Harmon and Florence (Adams) MacDonald. He was a farmer and a member of Bethel United Church, Miramichi; a member of the Northumberland Co-Op; a member of the Miramichi Chapter of the Highland Society. He is survived by his wife, the former Hattie Burke; one daughter, Jane Matchett of Miramichi; two grandchildren, Jennifer Sturgeon (Joey), of Miramichi and Laura Matchett, of Fredericton; one sister, Annie MacLean, of Miramichi. Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Tuesday only, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Bethel United Church, on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at 11 am, conducted by Mr. Dean Lawrence. Interment will be in Moorefield Cemetery, later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bethel United Church, or any charity of the donors' choice, would be appreciated by the family.
