Gerard Roy COCAGNE, NB - Gerard Roy, 79, husband of Phyllis Roy (Goguen), of Cocagne Sud, Cocagne, NB, passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on March 15, 2005. Born in Cocagne, NB on February 8, 1926, he was the son of the late Willie Roy of Ste-Marie de Kent and the late Ida Babineau of Grande-Digue. He was a retired Carpenter. He attended StPierre-de-Cocagne. Gerard is survived by his wife Phyllis Roy (Goguen); two daughters, Yolande Noël (Euclide) of Grande-Digue, Adelita Caissie (Francis) of Grande-Digue; two sons, Gerald Roy (Suzanne) of GrandeDigue, Yvon Roy of Cocagne; two brothers, Emery (Jeannette) of Shediac, Irenée (Stella) of Cocagne; and seven grandchildren. Resting at Coopérative Funeraire Passage Funeral Co-operative with visitation on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Mass will be held at StPierre-de-Cocagne Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 11 AM. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery at a later date.
