Edgar Vautour GRAND-BARACHOIS, NB - Edgar Vautour, 73, of Grand-Barachois, NB, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Grand-Barachois, July 23, 1931, he was the son of the late Honoré and Philomène (Melanson) Vautour. He was a fisherman for 53 years prior to his retirement and a member of the Barachois Golden Age Club. He is survived by his wife, Alma (Arsenault) Vautour; three daughters, Hélène Landry (Hermel) of Edmundston, Alberta Cormier (Jean-Paul) of Dieppe, Odette Richard (Paul) of Grand-Barachois; three sons, Yvon (Laurianne) of Grand-Barachois, André (Connie) and Marc (Rosemonde) all of Moncton; five sisters, Huberte Richwagon of Florida, Claudine Godel of Toronto, Imelda Richard (Billy) of Rogersville, Sr. Thérèse Vautour, F-J of Lorne, Cécile Robertson of Ontario; four brothers, Charles of Shediac, Hervé (Shirley) and Antoine (Florence) of Moncton, Jude of Cap Bimet; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Loretta Boudreau, Bernadette Allain; and three infants. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 396 Main Street, Shediac (5323297). with visiting hours on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until time of departure (9:40). The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at St-Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
