Patricia E. Roberts 1927 - 2005 REXTON, NB - Patricia Roberts, 78, of Rexton, NB, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, April 5, 2005. Born in Rexton, NB, she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Doucette) Burns. Retired as a nurse in Oshawa, Ontario, she had also worked as a school teacher. She was a member of the Rexton Lioness Club, the Women's Liberal Association, the Golden Age Club and the C.W.L. of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton, of which she attended. Also she was a former Sunday School teacher. Known by her family to be the strongest, most generous mother, nanny and grandma, she will be sadly missed. She is survived by her husband, Alexander; daughter, Noreen LangdonRoberts (late Geoffrey) of Ottawa; sons, Myles G. Roberts (Donna) of Fenelon Falls, ON, Francis Connolly "Whip" Roberts (Cathy) of Oshawa, ON; brother, Raymond Burns (late Doreen) of Rexton; grandchildren, Jeremy, Blake, Amanda (Tommy),Michelle, Ashley, Jennifer and Alexis. Predeceased by a brother, Connolly Burns during WW II. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by the family's request. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Rexton on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in the spring. Donations made to the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church or to the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Coronary Unit would be appreciated by Patricia's family. The family would like to express many thanks to the doctors and nurses in the Coronary Unit at the Dr. GeorgesL.
