The death occurred at Beach Grove Home on Monday, March 2, 2009, of Isabelle Daley, age 91, daughter of the late John and Ellen (MacDonald) Doyle, Mermaid, and beloved wife of the late Eugene. Isabelle was a founding member of St. Pius X CWL and a long-time member of the parish. Isabelle is survived by her sister, Margaret (the late Gus) Campbell, Charlottetown, and sons Louis (Evelyn), Charlottetown, John (Susan) Suffolk, and Paul (Kathy), Meadowbank. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Daley (Melissa Likely) of Vancouver, Michael Daley of Toronto, Robert Daley of Edmonton, Sarah Daley of Suffolk, Heather (Geoff) Woodford of Cornwall, Geoff MacDonald of Grande Prairie, Paul (Maude) MacDonald of Montreal, Anne Marie (Jason) Broussard of Charlottetown, Lisa (Randy) Bruce of Charlottetown, and Stephen Daley of Waterloo, and by six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene, daughter Claire Anne (Matt) Kane, granddaughter Gina Marie MacDonald and brothers Frank and John Doyle. Resting at the Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Wednesday, March 4, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Thursday, March 5, at 10 a.m. Interment to take place later at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
