Marguerite Gallant

Marguerite Gallant 1919 - 2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Marguerite Gallant, 85, wife of the late Dismas Gallant of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Grand-Barachois passed away on Monday, May 2, 2005 at the Villa Providence. Born August 12, 1919 in Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Cormier and the late Mathilde Landry. She was a member of the Golden Age Club in Grand-Barachois. She is survived by three daughters, Doris Fougère and Muriel LeBlanc (Roger) all of Shediac, Claudette Hébert (Léo Paul) of Grande-Digue; seven sons, Armand (Anne), Arthur (Céline) and Claude all of Moncton, Emerie (Edna) and Eric of Grand-Barachois, Clarence of Grande-Digue, Charles of Shediac; one sister, Norma Bourque of Moncton; two brothers, Sifroid Cormier (Edna) of Bouctouche, Léonce Landry (Rhéa) of Cap-Pelé; three half-sisters, Rose Cormier (Ulysse) of Cocagne, Donalda Doiron (Jean-Louis) and Fernande Comeau (Peter) all of CapPelé; three half-brothers, René Cormier (Linda) and Valerie (Rosella) all of CapPelé, Arcade Cormier of Moncton; 14 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Besides her husband Dismas (1994), she was also predeceased by three sisters, Olivine Bourque, Lorraine Moffat, Catherine Belanger; and one half-sister, Délia Cormier. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (5323297) on Tuesday, May 3 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Wednesday, May 4 from 9:30a.m. until time of departure at 10:10a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at St. Henri Roman Catholic Church, Grand-Barachois.
