Carr Ward Graham 1935-2005 Carr W. Graham, 69, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, May 2, 2005. Born in Kouchibouguac, NB, he was the son of the late James Graham and Mary (MacDonald) Graham. Carr was a retired technician with C.N.T. Carr was very active in the Masonic Fraternity for many years having progressed through the offices to that of Worshipful Master in Lodge St. Andrew #16 in Rexton. In the Grand Lodge of New Brunswick he held the offices of Senior Grand Warden, District Deputy Grand Master, Deputy Grand Master, as well as that of Grand Master. He was a Grand Representative to the Province of Quebec in New Brunswick and an honorary member of the Grand Lodge of Prince Edward Island. Having joined the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Canada consisting of The Moncton Lodge of Perfection, Britton Chapter of Rose Croix, and The New Brunswick Sovereign Consistory, he became Thrice Puissant Grand Master, Currently 1st General and Commander-in-Chief respectively. He was very proud to be admitted (by invitation only) and coroneted Honorary Inspector General 33 degree. He also had the distinction (by invitation only) of joining The Royal Order of Scotland in 1983 and becoming The Provincial Grand Master-Elect in October, 2004. In the Luxor Shrine Temple (Valley of Moncton) he was the first Vice-President and second President of the Past Masters Unit and President of The Moncton Shrine Club. He was active with the Phil Drader Coronation Chapter Order of Demolay Youth Group as a Chapter Dad, on the Advisory Board and an honorary member of The Canadian Supreme Council Order of Demolay. He joined the Order of The Eastern Star in 1985. Carr was Grand Representative of the State of Georgia in New Brunswick. In the Grand Chapter of New Brunswick he was the Past Grand Patron. He was a member of Zetland Chapter #26 and he held honorary membership in the Winston Churchill, Bathurst, Fidelity, and Westville, N.S. Chapters and the Grand Chapter of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. He currently held the position of General Grand Chapter Committee Member of Scottish Rite Learning Centers. He is survived by wife, Natalie (O'Brien) Graham; daughter, Jodie King of Antigonish, N.S.; grandsons, David and Jason King of Inuvik; sisters, Margaret McKay and Gay Hunter of Fredericton, Greta Wiggins of Saint John, Madeline Graham, Phyllis Perry (Arnold), Faye Wilson (Harold) all of Moncton, sister- in-law, Louise Graham of Quispamsis brother, Miles Graham (Paula) of Moncton and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son-in-law, Clifford King and by a brother, Allison Graham. Visitation is at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home, Lutz St. Moncton on Thursday, May 5, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Martin Kreplin officiating. The Order of Eastern Star will be conducting a Memorial service at Tuttle Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday at 6:30 pm, followed by a Masonic Memorial Service at 6:45 pm. Interment will be in Kouchibouguac Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date.
