Rita Mazerolle 1920 - 2005 RICHIBUCTO, NB - Rita Mazerolle, 85, wife of the late Edmond Mazerolle, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Sunday, May 8, 2005. Born in Cap-Lumière, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Baselice (Légere) Allain. Rita was a retired seamstress who had also worked at the Richibucto Continental Store. She attended the St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church and was a member of the C.W.L. and church choir. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Richibucto Branch No. 30 Ladies Auxillary. Rita is survived by her daughters , Lillian (Alpha) Gray, Moncton and Maria (Bev) Savoy, St. Charles; sons, Paul, Oromocto, Jean (Louisa), St. Edouard, Vincent (Kim), Hamilton, ON, Bernard, Edmonton, AB, Danny (Kim), Bradford, ON.; brother, Joseph (late Jeannine), Cap-Lumière; nine grandchildren, Jean-Charles, Joelle, Benny, Michael, Janice, Randy, Josh, Stephanie and Cierra; three greatgrandchildren, Alexander, Mitchell, Alliyah and several nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Edmond; three sisters, Edna, Prémilia, Nellie and eight brothers, Dollard, Emile, Armand, Laurie, Arthur, Adelin, Yvon and Alban. Remains resting at Thompsons Funeral Home, Richibucto with visitation on Tuesday from 7 to 9pm, Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Thursday from 9am until the funeral. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 11am at St. Louis de Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto with interment to follow in the Aldouane Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Oncology Dept. of the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
