Elsie A. Jones Elsie A. Jones, 88, of Moncton passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, May 8, 2005. Born in Beebee River, Maine; daughter of the late Alfred and Ethelinda (Jackson) Heskett. Elsie was a retired School Teacher with 38 years service, having taught 23 years at Wynwood Dr. School, Moncton and at several Kent County Schools. She was a member of Saint Paul's Anglican Church, Brown's Yard and attended Highfield St. United Baptist Church. Elsie was a graduate of Fredericton Normal School and a member of the Moncton Retired Teacher's Association. She was a former member of Hoban Heroes Round Dance Club and Mountain Ridge Square Dance Club. Elsie enjoyed gardening, camping, jig saw puzzles, cross word puzzles, sewing, Quilt making and playing with her grandchildren. Elsie will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Miley Jones; daughter, Sharlene Jones (Bev MacKay), Moncton and Minto; son, Cecil (Diane), Riverview; grandchildren, David (Jill), Paul (Kim), Peter (Susan); great grandchildren, Alexander, Evan, Spencer, Ryan, Sophia, Chloe, Caleb and Sara; brother, Carl Heskett (Viola), Moncton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister, Edna Symes. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (858-1995), Tuesday 7 to 9, Wednesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9.
