Gladys M. Renton Gladys M. Renton, 94, of Spencer Memorial Home, Moncton passed away at her residence on Thursday, May 12, 2005. Born in Painsec, daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Coneen) King. Gladys' late husband, George ran Renton's Service Station in Lewisville from the time of their marriage in 1934 until his death in 1969, in later years selling Superline and Petrocan products. She was the last surviving member of her generation in both the King and her husband's families. She attended Wesley Memorial United Church, Moncton. Gladys' greatest joy was her family. Gladys will be sadly missed by her daughters, Myrna Seeley (Richard), Lakeville, West. Co., Joan Silliker (Late Arnold), Moncton; son, G. Allison (Rita), Riverview; grandchildren, Lynn, Catherine (Aaron), Dale (Kandi), Ross (Shelley), Lillian (Wayne), John (Karen), Thane (Jane), Kevin (Kim); great grandchildren, Alison, Caroline, Matthew, Mark, Rebekah, Johnny; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, George (1969); half-sisters, Anna, Minnie, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Mabel, Alice; and half-brothers, Harris, Thomas, George. No visitation by request. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, (858-1995) Sunday, May 15, 2005, 2pm. Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. Reception following the service.
