January 17, 1926 - March 2, 2009. Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home on Monday, March 2, 2009, Ethel Barbara Penney of Greens Harbour, aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband, J. Maxwell Penney (1995). Leaving to mourn with many memories are her children: Mildred (Jim), Florence (Andy), Wade, Christine (Craig); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law: Mary and Myrtus, as well as a number of nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 4th. resting at Faith United Church, Green’s Harbour from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral service will be held from Faith United Church Wednesday, March 4th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Faith United Church Cemetery.
