Robert Surette 1910 - 2005 COCAGNE, NB - Robert Surette, 95, husband of Edmée Richard Surette, of Rte 134, Cocagne, NB, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthly illness. Born in Cocagne on May 4, 1910, he was the son of the late Jean Surette and Agnés Breau. He was a retired Fisherman, attended St-Pierre de Cocagne Roman Catholic Church and was a member of Club D'Age D'Or, Cocagne. Besides his wife, Edmée Richard Surette; he is survived by four daughters, Hedwidge Surette (Ronald Gaudet), Notre-Dame, Gérène Surette (Michel Arsenault), St John, Carmel Surette (Eddie Melanson), Village des Breau, Bernette Surette (Léonard Goguen), Village des Breau; four sons, Robert "Bobby" Surette (Lilianne), Moncton, Rodrigue Surette (Joy Landry) Goudalie, NB, Dolan Surette (Huguette Michaud), Village des Breau, Conrad Surette, Village des Breau; three sisters, Edith "Léa" Martin (late Joseph), Moncton, Anita Babineau (late Fidéle), Moncton, Imelda Surette, Montréal; one brother, René Surette (Émerise), Village des Breau; 10 grandchildren, Christian, Nathael, Izmael, Mélanie, Michael, Jemael, Josué, Milaine, Sasha, Yoann. He was predeceased by one son, Claude (1982); one daughter, Rachel (1953); and one brother, Ernest (2003). He is resting at St-Pierre de Cocagne Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, with visiting hours on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Tuesday 9:30 am till the time of funeral. Funeral service will be held from St-Pierre de Cocagne Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at 11 am. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke or the Parkinson Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
