Violette Richard SAINT-ANTOINE, NB - Violette Richard, 94, widow of the late Jean-Baptiste Richard (1983), of Saint-Antoine and formerly of Sainte-Marie de Kent, passed away at the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB on Sunday, June 5, 2005 after a brief illness. Born in Amherst, NS on April 17, 1911 she was the daughter of the late Albénie LeBlanc and the late Marguerite Gallant. She attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. Violette is survived by one daughter, Jeannita LeBlanc (Donald) of Leominster, Mass; one son, Jean-Valmond of Saint-Antoine de Kent; two sisters, Lucia LeBlanc (Medor), Marguerite Maillet both of Irishtown; four grandchildren, Claudette, Yvette, Norman, Lisa; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one great grandson, Jason; two sisters, Lorette, Stella; four brothers, Dollard, Rodolph, Marcel, and Aldéric. There will be no visitation at the request of Mrs. Richard. The Funeral Service will be held at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 7:00 pm. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
