Carman Snowdon 1929-2005 PORT ELGIN, NB- The death of Carman Snowdon, age 75, of Port Elgin, NB occurred on Monday, June 6, 2005 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital, Sackville, NB. Born on November 3,1929 in Woodpoint, NB, he was the son of the late Harold and Elizabeth (McFadden) Snowdon. Carman will be sadly missed by his daughter, Carmilita (Wilbur) Dedam; three sons, Douglas (Karen) Snowdon of Westcock, NB, Charlie Snowdon of Port Elgin, NB and Frank (Mandy) Snowdon of Sackville, NB; surrogate daughter, Tracy Douthwright of Port Elgin, NB; one sister, Beryl Taylor of Gallagher Ridge, NB; two brothers, Jack Snowdon of Dorchester, NB and Wyman Snowdon of Sackville, NB; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren ; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife , Shirley B.(Tower) Snowdon; two daughters, Judy and Tammy; four sisters, Inez, Jessie, Marie and Erma; three brothers, Frank, Abner and George; and grandchildren, Judith and David. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, NB (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request of the family. The burial will take place at a later date in the Westcock Cemetery, with details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carman may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice.
