Hazel Winnifred Taylor 1916 - 2005 SACKVILLE, NB - Hazel Winnifred Taylor, of Sackville and formerly of Riverview, passed away at the Drew Nursing Home in Sackville on Sunday, June 5, 2005 at the age of 89. Born in Upper Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late William Andrew "Andy" and Minnie Greta (Card) Scurr. Hazel was a teacher and taught school for thirteen years in Albert Mines, Lower Coverdale and Pointe de Bute. She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Taylor-Greig (Douglas) of Kenora, ON; three grandchildren, Alexandra (Tim Spak), Anthony and Alistair; sister, Shirley McCullogh (Bill) of Scarborough, ON; and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Horace E. (Martin) Taylor in 1998, brother, Harley Scurr and a sister, Mildred Colwell. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview on Thursday, June 9, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A graveside service will be held at Dorchester Rural Cemetery at a later date with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Donations made to the memorial of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
