Christina Wood 1917 - 2005 RIVERVIEW, NB - The death of Christina (Tiek) Wood, widow of Wendall, of Riverview occurred May 15, 2005 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Holland she was the daughter of the late Frederik and Maria Van der Heide. She is survived by her brother, Peiter; niece, Marion both of Holland; and by nephew, Robert of New Zealand. She was predeceased by Wendall in 1988. Tiek and Wendall were married in 1945 in Holland and came to Canada in 1946. They enjoyed their cottage and many friends at Edgewater, as well as curling at the Beaver Club and traveling. She enjoyed playing bridge and had a keen interest in antiques, art and handicrafts. She swam regularly at St Patrick's Family Center until several months ago. Tiek had worked at the Mental Health Association in Moncton. By personal request there will not be any public Funeral Service. A private graveside service has taken place in Elmwood Cemetery.
