Harold Kenneth Steeves 1924 - 2005 LAKEVILLE, NB - Harold Kenneth Steeves, of Lakeville, NB, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at the age of 80 years. Born in Moncton, NB on August 1, 1924 he was the son of the late William and May (Tower) Steeves. Harold was a truck driver for the Canadian National Railway for 33 years, retiring in 1980; he was a member of the CNR Pensioneers. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Rita (Power); three daughters, Dianne (Les) Slaunwhite of Lower Sackville, NS, Beverly (Milton Pottie) White of Middleton, NS, and Wendy (Kelvin) Day of Dartmouth, NS; two sons, Gerald (Ruth), and Rodney all of Lakeville, NB; sisters, Shirley Mollins, and Barbara (Gerald) Sprague all of Moncton; brother Rev. Robert (Kathleen) of Petitcodiac; his only grandson Timothy of Lakeville and also by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his infant children, Kenneth and Angela; sisters, Marion Landry, Irene Bottle, and Beulah Goguen; also by an infant brother Roy. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. on Sunday, June 12, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Gordon MacLeod Officiating. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. In Harold's memory, donations made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by his family.
