Emma Bastarache SAINT-ANTOINE DE KENT, NB - Emma Bastarache, 76, wife of Oswald Bastarache, from Saint-Antoine de Kent and formerly of Saint-Marie de Kent, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, after a lengthily illness. Born in Sainte-Marie de Kent, NB, on October 12, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Henri Gauvin and Joséphine Cormier. She was a housewife and attended Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. Besides her husband, Oswald Bastarache; she is survived by one daughter, Linda Bastarache of Moncton; four sons, Donald of Dalhousie, Roger (Lisette) of Moncton, Léo (Francine) of Shediac Bridge, Guy of Calgary; three sisters, Alma Williams of Bouctouche, Louise Bastarache (Emery) of SainteMarie de Kent, Marie Léger (Roger) of Leominster, Mass.; two brothers, Jim (Nélida) of Saint-Antoine de Kent, Emile (Jeanne) of Leominster; four grandchildren, Maryse, Mathieu, Marie-Hélène, Renée-Anne; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by one brother, Léo (2001). Resting at Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church slumber room, Sainte-Marie de Kent with visiting hours on Tueday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 5:30 to 7:15pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at 7:30 pm from Notre-Dame de Mont Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Sainte-Marie de Kent. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.
