Gracia Melanson CAP-DE-LA-MADELEINE, PQ - Gracia Melanson, 74, wife of Jules Richard, of Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Québec, formerly of Moncton (Lewisville) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Palliative Care Unit of CSSSTR. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Melanson and Mélina LeBlanc. Besides her husband Jules, she is survived her children, Guy (Lise Loranger), Lise (Paul Racette), France (Robert Ferragne), Marc (Julie Vadeboncoeur), and Carole; grand- children, Steve (Christine Boulanger), Marie-Ève, Matthieu, Myriam, Francesca and Jean-François Racette, Catherine, Benoit, Marianne and David Richard; her mother-in-law, Laurette Duhaime (late Hector Richard); her sisters-in-law and her brothers-in-law: Pamela White (late Ronald Melanson), Doris Richard (Léo-Paul Lemire), Marguerite Richard (Gilles Crte), Jeannine Tessier (late Armand Richard), Jean-Guy Richard (Louise Landry), André Richard (Céline Dostaler); many friends, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends at Funérarium J.D. Garneau, 405 Ste-Madeleine Blvd., Trois-Rivières (819-376-3731) Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2005 at Sainte-Marie-Madeleine Church.
