Alonzo "Ted" Fenton
Alonzo "Ted" Fenton 1915 - 2005 Alonzo "Ted" Fenton, 89, of Kenneth Spencer Memorial Home, Salisbury Rd., Moncton and formerly of Albert Mines passed away peacefully on June 27, 2005 at the Nursing Home. Ted was born in Edgett's Landing, NB on December 6, 1915, the son of the late John and Flossie (Christopher) Fenton. He was retired from the Canadian Gypsum Company. Ted really enjoyed the outdoors and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Carol Steeves of Hillsborough; his precious grandchildren, Elizabeth Steeves, Andy Steeves and Judy Claus (John) ; great grandchildren, Ryan, Cody, Tara and Jamin; three sisters, Kate Wilson (Reginald) of Hillsborough, Edith Irving (Paul) and Ruby O'Connor (Lorenzo "Joe") both of Riverview; sisters-in-law, Doris Fenton of Albert Mines and Mildred Fenton of Hillsborough. Ted will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four brothers, Charles, Eldon, Floyd "Gus" and Cameron; one sister, Ada. He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 2pm with Rev. Donald Arbeau officiating. Interment will be held at the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett's Landing, NB. Donations to the charity of the donor's choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
