Elva Cormier Elva Cormier, 88, wife of the late Tilman Cormier of Moncton passed away Tuesday July12, 2005 at The Moncton Hospital. Born July 26, 1916 in Joggins, NS, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Dugay) Como. She was a retired RNA at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, and enjoyed playing BINGO, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, Moncton She is survived by her three sons, Stanley (Maria) and Tim (Marsha Matthews) both of Moncton, Kenny (Donna) of Ottawa; a daughter-in-law Helen Cormier (late Duane) of Ottawa; three grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Michael; great-grandchildren Justin and Emma. Besides her son Duane; a daughter-in-law Karen (Tim) and her sisters predeceased her. Remains resting at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900). Visiting hours Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until time of departure (9:50). The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2005 at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Following cremation, interment will be in Shediac Road Cemetery, Moncton. There will be parish prayers Friday evening at 8:30 p.m.. Memorial donations to the Moncton Hospital or Dr. Georges-L.
