Anne Cecilia Jardine MIRAMICHI, NB - Anne Cecilia Jardine, of Miramichi, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on July 31, 2005. Anne was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, William J. Jardine. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Mazerolle) Richard. She was born in Chatham, NB, on July 26, 1913 and was the last remaining member of her immediate family. Anne is survived by sons, Richard (Carolyn), Dieppe, Michael (Nancy), Mississauga, ON, Paul (Myna Hamel), Calgary, AB, Stephen (Nancy), Fredericton, NB, and Dr. Lawrence (Janet), London, ON. She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Chris, Emily, Kate, Oliver (Foran), Matthew, David, Mary Elizabeth, Andrew, Yvonne, Claire, Peter, John, Catherine, Thomas, and Robert. Anne is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by infant grandson, Stephen Zachary; brothers, Fred, William, Michael, Frank and George; and sisters, Adeline, Agnes, Alice, Frances, Cecile, Margaret, and Gertrude. Anne was a homemaker who enjoyed her time with the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, and later with the Pioneer Senior Citizens. She was an accomplished crib player and enjoyed bingo and 45's with her friends at her residence on King Street. Funeral Services are in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, 35 University Avenue, Miramichi. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Basilica on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Miramichi Regional Hospital Foundation.
