Edgar J. Landry 1922 - 2005 SHEDIAC, NB - Edgar Joseph Landry, 83, of Tipperary Street, Shediac passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2005 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born May 31, 1922 in Shediac, he was the son of the late Theophile Landry and Alice LeBlanc. A Veteran, Edgar served with the Royal Canadian Army during World War II in England. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #33 in Shediac. Edgar worked at Sears in Ontario prior to his retirement. He is survived by one sister, Eva Gallant (late Aubin); two brothers, Éric Landry (Phyllis) and Alcide Landry (Claudia) all of Shediac; a special niece, Lucille and her husband, Jacques LeBlanc of Shediac; and many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Dina Petitpas, and two brothers, Dery and Émile Landry. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main Street, Shediac (5323297) with visitation on Friday, August 5 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Saturday, August 6 from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2005 at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dr. Léon Richard Oncology Center of the Dr. Georges-L.
