Marguerite R. Richard 1935 - 2005 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Marguerite (Noble) Richard who passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, August 14, 2005 after a lengthy, courageous and hard fought battle against many illnesses. Born at the Hotel Dieu Hospital in Chatham on October 10, 1935, she was the daughter of Alice (Noble-Savoy) Poirier and the late John Noble. She is predeceased by her husband, Ephrem Richard (August 1, 2005). She will be greatly missed by her loving family, Charline (Bernard Doiron); Paula, Jacqueline (Brian Murphy); Gary (Nadine), and Kim (Dave Steeves). Her greatest source of strength and comfort - her pride and joy were her beloved grandchildren (her angels). She was a much loved and adored Nana to Aaron and Travis; Maeve, Megan and Bronwyn; Cody and Bryanna and Jonathon, as well as her furry four legged grandchild - Willie. She is also survived by four brothers, Robert (Molly), Wayne, Kevin (Christa), and Keith and one sister Lorna (Lloyd Savoy) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister, Edna Jimmo, July 21, 2005. She started her nursing career at the Chatham Hospital and joined the staff at The Moncton Hospital where she worked until ill health forced her retirement. Following her cremation, visitation will be held at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton on Thursday, August 18, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. (Parish prayers at 8:30 pm). A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church, Mountain Road at Dominion Street, on Friday, August 19, 2005 at 11:00 am, followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
