Dorothy Bernice Mitton 1915 - 2005 Dorothy Bernice Mitton, of Moncton, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, August 18, 2005 age of 90 years. Born in Mount Eagle, NB on May 17, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Cory and Carrie (Eagles) Lewis. She was a member of Harrisville United Church, a former organist, and sang in the church choir. Dorothy was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Mitton and her husband Ken Melanson; sons, Grant and Mary Mitton, John and Faye Mitton, and David and Karla Mitton all of Moncton; 16 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Vaughn Mitton in 1995; son, Ken Mitton in 1994; sisters, Vivian, and Winona; brothers, Trueman, Ray, Paul, Cory, Vernon, Victor, and Reginald. Visitation being held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Sunday, August 21, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. The Funeral Service will be held at The Harrisville United Church on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
