Mr. Neil Savoy BURNT CHURCH, NB - Mr. Neil Savoy, husband of Rena (Ross) Savoy of Burnt Church Road, Burnt Church, NB, passed away Monday evening at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 89. Born in Burnt Church, NB, he was the son of the late Gladys Savoy. He was a retired fisherman and a member of St David's United Church, Burnt Church, NB. Besides his wife, Rena, he is survived by one daughter, June Kerry (Ulysse) of Moncton, NB; one son, Bradley Mills (Audrey) of Fredericton, NB; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Besides his mother, he was predeceased by one son, Richard; three brothers, Cecil, Lawrence and Roy. Mr. Neil Savoy is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, Miramichi, with visitation on Wednesday, August 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2pm at Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel, with Dean Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot of Burnt Church Union Cemetery.
