Emile Cormier Emile Cormier, 83, of Moncton passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2005 on arrival at the Moncton Hospital following a sudden illness. Born February 17, 1922 in SteMarie, he was the son of the late Edouard and Germaine Cormier. Retired locomotive engineer with CNR and avid bowler. Beloved father of Michael (Tammy) of Salisbury, Edouard (Margaret) of Halifax, Paul (Louisette) of Dieppe, Emile "Jr." (Christina) of Riverview, dear brother of Georgina George, Marguerite Lewis (Julien), Jacqueline Younghusband (Glen), and Bernice Priess all of British Columbia, Yvonne Falardeau (David), Claudette LeBlanc and Edouard (Yvette) all of Moncton, Blanche Anderson (Jim) of Calgary, Oswald of San Jose, CA; precious grandfather of Susan, Greg, Robert, Marc, Lyse, Jeffrey, Bruce, Jillian, Jamie; great-grandfather of Lola, Zack, Eva, Cloe, Nico and former husband of Lois (Purdy) of Moncton. Predeceased by his wife, Lorraine (née LeBlanc) and a sister Lorraine Cormier. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday August 29, 2005 at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). No visitation. Interment, following cremation, will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
