Laura Cormier BOUCTOUCHE, NB - Laura Cormier, 87, of Bouctouche, NB, widow of the late Eugère Cormier (1990), passed away at the Stella Maris de Kent Hospital, Sainte-Anne de Kent, NB on Thursday, August 25, 2005 after a brief illness. Born in Bouctouche, NB on September 13, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Sifrois LeBlanc and the late Sylvie Girouard. She was a housewife and she attended Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche. Laura is survived by four daughters, Loraine LeBlanc (Bernadin), Rose-Mai LeBlanc (Normand) both of Gardner, Mass, Noella LeBlanc (Dave) of Dieppe, Marie LeBlanc (Laurie) of Bouctouche; three sons, Arthur (Cathy) of Pickering, ON, André (Ella) of Sainte-Marie de Kent, Yvon (Mariette) of Bouctouche; 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Gerard; three sisters, Marceline, Eva, Marie-Jane; eight brothers, Thaddée, Jimmy, Antoine, Albert, Arthur, Alex, Francois and Lionel. Resting at Maillet Funeral Home Ltd., 29 rue d'église, Bouctouche, NB with visitation on Sunday, August 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Monday from 9 to 10:45 am. The Funeral Service will be held at Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Monday, August 29, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
