Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, March 2, 2009, of Harbour Breton (formerly of Smith’s Country Villa, Shearstown), aged 85 years. Predeceased by parents Katherine and John C. Jensen; brothers William, Max and Oscar; sisters Vivian Dicks, Laura Walters, Dorothy Banfield. Leaving to mourn Special Relatives: Nephews Lloyd Jenson (Doreen Vallis), Harbour Breton; Eric Banfield, Bay L’Argent; Lewellyn Dicks (Mary), Gatineau, Quebec; nieces Edyth McDonald (Ron), Burgeo; Karen Dicks, Halifax; special friends Keith and Denise Smith, residents and staff of Smith’s Country Villa, Shearstown; and other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Clarkes Beach, Monday 8 p.m. - 9 p.m. Resting at Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton, Tuesday 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, March 5, 2009 from Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton. Funeral time to be announced at a later date. Interment at the St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
