Shirley Lounsbury 1927 - 2005 REXTON, NB - Shirley (Steeves) Lounsbury, age 78, of School St., Rexton, NB, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent following a lengthy illness. Born in Lower Coverdale, NB, April 3, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Karl Steeves and Edna Boyd. She was a retired secretary for the Moncton School District and was involved in Pythian Sisters Riverview. She was an outdoor enthusiast and a long time member of the Unitarian fellowship avid traveler of Moncton. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Jim Lounsbury; one daughter, Vivian Kierstead (William) of Rexton; two sons, Richard (Wendy) of Rexton and David (Dianne) of Langly, BC; one sister, Ursula Giberson (Philip) of Limekiln, NB; six grandchildren, Melissa, Abby, Meaghan, Kyle, Christina and Eric. There will be a private family service at Passage Funeral Co-operative Chapel on Tuesday, August 30, 2005. Burial in the Memorial Garden Salisbury Road, Moncton.
