Bertram W. Dykeman
Bertram W. Dykeman 1935 - 2005 Bertram "Bert" Dykeman, 69, of Moncton, passed away on September 3, 2005 at The Moncton City Hospital. Born in Upper Gagetown, he was the son of the late Wilmot and Marion (Warman) Dykeman. Bert retired from CNR after 35 years of service. He was a member, elder and treasurer, as well as a choir member of the Steeves Memorial United Church. He was a member of the Gideons International in Canada for many years and he organized the first cub pack for the church. Bert will be sadly missed by his wife, Betty, of 45 years; daughter, Karen (Fred) Leidemer of Moncton; son, Peter (Nancy) of Hampton. He will also be missed by a brother, Richard (Pauline) of Truro; a sister, Lynne (Richard) Eisener of Bedford, NS; mother-in-law, Neata Gunter; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Monday, September 5, from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Steeves Memorial United Church on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 2:00PM.
