Helen Elsie Sears SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Helen Sears, age 84, of Sackville, occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 12, 2005. Born in Midgic, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Zora (Hicks) Estabrooks. She was a member of the Midgic Baptist Church and the Salvation Army League, Amherst Branch. Helen will be sadly missed by brothers, Allen of Sackville, with whom she resided, Colburn (Irene), Midgic; Aunt Mina Hicks, Stoney Creek, ON; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Sears; her brother, David and his wife, Hilda. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (364-1300) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will take place at the Jones Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 2 pm, Pastor Hal Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Sackville Cemetery.
