Doris M. Blakney LAKEVILLE, NB - Doris M. Blakney, 75, of Lakeville, Westmorland Co., passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2005. Born in Targetville, she was the daughter of the late George and Florence (McCleary) Beers. Doris was retired from the Department of Supplies and Services, Federal Government and a member of Pathway Church of God, where she served with various ladies groups in past years. Doris was a member of the NB Muscular Dystrophy Association and enjoyed playing scrabble and skip-bo. Doris will be sadly missed by her husband of over 49 years, Mark Blakney; daughters, Carol O'Brien (Kerry Pirt), Lakeville, Westmorland Co., Marlene Blakney, Ottawa, ON, Sandi Lee Blakney, Lakeville, Westmorland Co.; grandsons Mark Weldon and Joshua Blakney; sister, Helen Beers, Moncton; brother Arnold Beers (Rita), Riverview; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Violet and Dorothy; brother, Seymour. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd.
