Robert John Nixon 1915-2005 SACKVILLE, N.B.- Robert J. Nixon, age 90, of Sackville, N.B., passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at the Drew Nursing Home. Born on July 20, 1915 in Langham, Scotland, he was the son of the late John and Annie (Graham) Nixon. Bob was a veteran of WWII and was a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #26, Sackville for over fifty years. He was employed with Enterprise Foundry as a molder until his retirement and was a past member of the Sackville Golf and Country Club. Robert is survived by many nieces and nephews; and many grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Nixon; two brothers, Andrew and Adam Nixon; and one sister, Sarah Nixon. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Visitation will take place on Friday, September 30, 2005 from 7 to 9 PM. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 26 will hold a service at 7 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11 AM from Campbell's Funeral Home. Pastor Barry Todd will officiate with Pastor Tim MacDonald assisting. Burial will take place in the Westcock Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bob may be made to the charity of one's choice.
