Guy Richard SYDNEY, NS - Guy Richard, 66, of Sydney, NS passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 after a lenghly illness. Born in Rogersville, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marguerite (Aucoin) Richard. Before his illness he worked for Canada Custom and Revenue Agency in Sydney, NS. During most of his career he was a French Teacher for the Canadian Military. He previously worked as a Teacher for the School District throughout NB. He is survived by his wife, Louise (LeBlanc); one son, Yves; one daughter, Ginette; one granddaughter, Haley, all of Sydney; two sisters, Gemma Richard of Montreal and Mrs. Wilfred Gaudet (Elise) of Dieppe; also several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 10 brothers, Hubert, Fidèle, François, Arthur, Marcel, Normand, Rheal, Patrice, Fidèle (baby), Marcel (baby); and two sisters, Thérèse and Maria (baby). Cremation has taken place. Funeral will take place in Sydney on October 1, 2005. Family will receive visitation in the Church basement an hour before a commemorative mass which will be held at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 11am. Interment will follow in Rogersville at the Church Cemetery.
