Patrick Garfield Condon Laurette
Patrick Garfield Condon Laurette 1940-2005 Patrick Laurette, 65, of Lockhart Street, passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 8, 2005. Born in Moncton, he was adopted at the age of seven by the late Bill and Ruphine Laurette. Patrick was a gifted pianist and known in the sixties for his trio, Threes Music. Throughout his life, Patrick was a teacher, an art historian, and an inspiration to many students. For fifteen years, Patrick was an assistant curator at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. For ten years, Patrick was a choir director and pianist for a local Riverview church. Patrick's attention to detail, his persistence to prove points and compulsivity to perfection is reflected in all his endeavors. Patrick was a loving father to Ada Laurette and Kevin Laurette, a seven year husband to Susan Laurette and father-in-law to Victor Kokta. Patrick's love and dedication to grandson Luke Frantisev Kokta born in Manhattan, New York was an inspiration to all of us. Patrick's positive energy has enlightened everyone who had known him. Patrick will be greatly missed. There will be no visitation prior to the Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home on Thursday October 13, at 4:00 PM, Father Bernard Sloan officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Moncton Food Bank or the Moncton Headstart would be appreciated by the family. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
