G. Kent Clark 1941 - 2005 Kent Clarke 64, of Riverview passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Thursday October 13, 2005 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Summerside P.E.I, he was the son of Dorothy (Parkman) Clarke of Summerside and the Late George Clarke. Kent was a successful businessman and previous owner of Price Contractors and Magnetic Hill Golf & Country Club, member of St. George's Anglican Church. Kent was the recipient of the Chamber of Commerce Excellence Award (1990), Chamber of Commerce volunteer of the year (1992) and Certified Sommelier. He pursued many hobbies especially Salmon fishing. Besides his mother, Kent will be sadly missed by his wife of 41 years Betty (Wright) Clarke, three daughters, Christina Walker (Brian), Halifax; Heather Howe (Troy), Moncton; Dianna Clarke, Saint John; Granddaughter Portia Howe; Sister, Nancy Cairns (Late Harold), Stanley Bridge, PE; Sister-in-Law, Joan Haines (Ron), Mississauga, ON; Brother-in-Law, David Wright (Jill), Parry Sound, ON; Several nieces and nephews. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, (858-1995), Saturday 2 to 4, 7 to 9pm. Funeral Service at St. George's Anglican Church, Sunday October 16, 2005, 3pm. Rev. Chris VanBuskirk officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
