Ida Cecilia (Toots) Ramsay MIRAMICHI, NB - Ida Cecilia (Toots) (nee Phee) Ramsay passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, Miramichi on October 16, 2005 in her 76th year. Ida is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Oland, of 59 years. Together they raised 12 children. Elaine Thompson (Leigh), Judy Foran (Bill) Miramichi City, N.B., Norman (Lynn) Arlington, Texas, Kevin (Cheryl), Richard (Shelley), David, Carolyn of Charlottetown, P.E.I., Gary (Cathy), Patty (Kevin) Jones, Cornwall, P.E.I., Paul (Cheryl) Stratford, P.E.I. and Danny (Marianne) Winnipeg, Manitoba. Predeceased by daughter, Marie (Campbell) and grandchildren, Bruce and Tracey. Ida also leaves behind 34 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Buddy (A.J.) Phee; sister, Marie MacDonald, both of Calgary, Alberta and Pat Spurles of Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ida was also predeceased by one brother, Lester Phee; sisters, Nora Halman, Phyllis McCarthy, Lilian King, Bertha O'Brien, Jen Flanagan and Marg Walsh-Hay. At Ida's request there will be no visitation. Following cremation a Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Basilica, Miramichi, N.B.
