Roy E. Silliker PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Roy Silliker, age 66, of Port Elgin, occurred in the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 16, 2005. Born in Val d'Or, QC, he was a son of the late Charles and Irene (Vautour) Silliker. Roy was formerly a 20 year employee with INCO, Sudbury, ON. He retired to Port Elgin a few years ago. Roy will be sadly missed by his girlfriend, Marlene Estabrooks, Port Elgin; two daughters, Sherry (Herb) Cowen, Pike Lake, ON and Dayna Silliker, Sudbury, ON; a grandson, Luke; six brothers, Joseph (Bo) (Kim), Shemogue, Floyd, Gary, Barry (Bimbo) (Wendy) and Stanley (Candy) all of Port Elgin and Billy of Salisbury; as well as five sisters, Shirley, Bedville, ON, Betty-Ann and Barbara, both of Port Elgin, April (Raymond), Petit Cap and Marion, Moncton. He was predeceased by a son, Brett; and brother, Danny; and sister, Margaret. The remains have been forwarded for cremation. A private graveside service will be held at Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin.
