Edmond Aucoin
Edmond Aucoin Edmond Aucoin, 92, of the Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Grande-Digue passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at the Villa Providence. Born in Rogersville, February 6, 1913, he was the son of the late Félix Aucoin and the late Marie Richard. Edmond was employed with CO-OP Atlantic for 37 years prior to his retirement having been Store Manager in Chéticamp, N.S. and later District Manager in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. He was a former member of the Golden Age Club in Grande-Digue and Shediac. He is survived by his daughter Yolande Bourgeois (Louis-Philippe) of Grande-Digue; four grandchildren: Julien (Sylvie), Élise, Charles - Antoine (Megan), Léonie (André) and by three great grandchildren: Gabrielle, Tyson and Éliane. He was predeceased by his wife Claudia (Chevarie) Aucoin (1991); four sisters: Marguerite Richard, Sr. Ozélie Aucoin, Sr. Olice Aucoin and Lena Johnson and by one brother Joseph Aucoin. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Thursday, October 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of departure at 9:50 a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2005 at Saint- Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Shediac. Interment will be in Saint- Anselme Roman Catholic Cemetery.
