Sylvia Eileen Bird LOWER COVERDALE, NB - Sylvia Eileen Bird, 78, of Lower Coverdale, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, October18, 2005. Born in Chatham, NB, on February 26, 1927 she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Wathan) MacMaster. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Elwyn; sons, Desmond and John (Patricia); and daughter Ashley; and one brother, Tom (Marion) MacMaster of Saint John. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother, John "Jack" MacMaster; and sister, Margaret MacLean. Sylvia was a member of the Eastern Star, she was an entrepreneur initiating the ceramics business in Moncton following her retirement from the National Parole Board. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday, October 22, 2005 from 11:30 to 2 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at 2 pm in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception room.
