Greta Constable 1915 - 2005 Greta Mary Constable (nee Legacy), 90, of K. E. Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Harrisville passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2005. Born in Campbellton, she was the eldest daughter of the late Theodore and Charlotte (Parker) Legacy. She was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) L. Constable; by companion, Douglas (Pat) Paterson, by four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children, Ruby Ramsay of Kearney, ON, Gary (Glenda) Constable of Fredericton/Cambridge Narrows, NB, Brenda Barrett (Paul) of Shediac, NB, John (Gayle) Constable of Steeves Mtn, NB; sister, Hilda Driscoll (Harold) of Elmvale, ON; and brother, Raymond Legacy of Fenlon Falls, ON; several nieces and nephews; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was active in her community and received a Governor General's Medal of Merit as a 50 member of the 1st Harrisville Ladies Auxiliary Cubs and Scouts. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch No. 6. She had won many trophies as an outstanding bowler on several leagues, and was an avid bingo player. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, November 1 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday at 2pm in the chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the Garden View reception room. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
